OUR VISION
To demonstrate God’s abundant love in action by making His grace and mercy known to all people through acts of kindness, and by sharing the simple gospel of Jesus Christ. We want people to come to know God as the loving Father that He is, and that He desires a loving relationship with each one of us. We want to bring Him glory, honour and praise by making His love known to a hurting world by providing the poor with the means for education, food, healing, water and shelter.
GRACIOUS MAKINDIBA MEMORIAL SCHOOL
HELP EDUCATE CHILDREN LIVING IN POVERTY
Gracious Makindiba Memorial School is an elementary school located in Sengera, Nyanza Province, Kenya. The school includes Early Childhood Development Classes (ages 3 and up) and standards 1-7 (grades). Our target group are impoverished children whose parents cannot afford to pay their school fees. Notre Amo Missions Society was founded in Vancouver, British Columbia Canada in April, 2018. We are a grassroots non-denominational Christian organization. Our purpose is to reveal God's love around the world by helping to alleviate poverty and share the message of Jesus Christ.
The name Notre Amo comes from a play on words of an Ekeguisii expression 'Notoro Amo' which means 'we are together.' Ekegusii is the tribal language of the Gusii (also known as Kisii) people living in the Kisii highlands in Western Kenya in the province of Nyanza. God is Love
Our desire is to reveal God’s compassionate heart to all people in a meaningful way. Love needs to be tangible and experienced by others we encounter, especially the poor, the rejected and the lost. Love has to look like something - like helping the sick, feeding the hungry, bringing water to the thirsty and providing education. Most importantly, and the best way we can reveal God's love is giving hope to a hurting world by sharing the simple gospel of Jesus Christ.
